A Rabbit Eyeing Us While Hopping Across The Park

Our Tent Under The Shelter

After having a bike stolen, we were glad we left Pueblo. Once out of Pueblo, it was flat—so flat, with a few rollers far in between. Also, along the way, we saw cows that stunk like pigs because they were all crowded into small pens.  All the cows were shoulder to shoulder and lying in mud.
We stopped for lunch along the way and continued along.  In the afternoon, it got to ninety-five, and all afternoon, we burned through the water.
We were in a very small town when we got to our campsite.  All they had for food was a convenience store, and that was it.  The town's only tourist attraction was a small jailhouse, the nation's smallest jail.
The park pump didn't work, so we went to the convenience store in hopes of using the restroom and getting water. The store was closed, but there was a pump, so we could get water.
We ate dinner and did some stretching, and Henry tried getting up to date with videos.  Even with a hotspot and being a hundred feet away from a cell tower, it didn't work.  So, Henry gave up, and we set up our tent under the shelter and then went to bed.
