A Wife Of Noble Character

 By Justin

For many years, we have had a special dinner together as a family on Friday. I read Proverbs 31 as a blessing over Shelley as part of that tradition. When we come to the line, "Her children rise and call her blessed," all the kids stand up, look at their mom, and say, " I love you." This brings a smile to her face every time. On our last meal together, when the kids stood up and said, "I love you," Shelley burst into tears. At that moment, I came to a greater realization of how much I asked her to sacrifice. It is not easy being married to me. We have been on the pioneering trail with many of our choices as a family, including when we took all the kids out of school to help in the family business.

I am thankful that Shelley has chosen trust over fear all these years and given so much to us. "A wife of noble character who can find?"  I can! I love you, Shelley.
